By creating an account, connecting your calendars, or using Omni as a guest, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Omni provides a meeting dashboard, background notification helper, and desktop widgets that aggregate events from your connected calendar accounts (including Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar) to detect video conferencing links (such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet) and facilitate joining meetings. Omni also provides local note-taking capabilities, summary tools, and contextual briefs.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
The software, layout, designs, visual interfaces, graphics, source code, logos, brand elements, and assets of Omni are owned exclusively by us or our licensors and are protected under intellectual property and copyright laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Omni application strictly in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to modify, reverse engineer, decompile, lease, rent, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Omni software without our explicit prior written consent.
4. User Responsibilities & Prohibited Uses
When utilizing Omni, you agree to:
- Provide accurate account information and maintain the security of your local session credentials.
- Use the Service in complete compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
- Maintain respect for other attendees, meeting hosts, and third-party conferencing platform rules.
You are explicitly prohibited from:
- Attempting to bypass, disable, or tamper with any local authentication, software restrictions, or security features.
- Using automated systems or bots to harvest data from Omni or connected services in a disruptive manner.
- Using Omni to transmit malicious payloads, spyware, malware, or unsolicited advertisements.
5. Disclaimers of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ACCURATE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ALL MEETING LINKS WILL BE DETECTED AND PARSED SUCCESSFULLY. YOUR USE OF THIRD-PARTY CONFERENCING OR CALENDAR PROVIDERS IS AT YOUR OWN SOLE DISCRETION AND RISK.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL OMNI, ITS FOUNDERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
