At Omni ("we," "our," or "us"), we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a secure experience. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how we collect, use, process, and disclose your information when you access or use our applications, websites, and services (collectively, the "Services").
By using Omni, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with the data practices described in this Privacy Policy, you should not use our Services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information about you directly from you, from third parties, and automatically through your use of our Services.
- Information You Provide to Us: Account and profile information (such as your name and email address) when you sign up for Omni. Additionally, any notes or documents you upload for meeting preparation.
- Calendar and Meeting Data: When you connect your Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, or other calendar services, we access calendar events, start/end times, meeting titles, descriptions, attendee lists, and video conferencing links (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Meet).
- Automatically Collected Data: Log data, device information, IP addresses, and usage data to help us monitor and improve the performance of our Services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our Services.
- Sync your calendars to construct your local meeting launchpad and provide reminders.
- Process your video conferencing links to enable the "one-click join" experience.
- Analyze usage patterns and improve user experience.
- Communicate with you, including sending updates, security alerts, and support messages.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance
Omni's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Access: Omni accesses your Google Calendar data (events, times, attendees, conferencing links) solely to populate your local meeting launchpad and provide reminders.
- Use: This data is used exclusively to facilitate your meeting preparation and one-click join experience within the Omni app.
- Storage: Google OAuth tokens and necessary calendar event details are securely stored in your private Firebase account records or local device storage. We do not store this data longer than necessary for the app to function.
- Sharing: We do not share, sell, or transfer your Google user data to any third-party AI models, advertisers, or data brokers. Data is only transferred as necessary to provide the core scheduling and reminder features of the application.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We may employ third-party companies, such as Google Firebase, to facilitate our Service and perform Service-related functions (e.g., database hosting, authentication).
- Conferencing Integrations: When you click to join a meeting, we pass the standard identifiers required to launch your Zoom, Microsoft, or Google client.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
- Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal information may be transferred as a business asset.
5. Data Security
The security of your data is important to us. We enforce robust technical mechanisms to prevent unauthorized access:
- Local application storage and databases are isolated using modern platform sandbox guidelines.
- All calendar integrations utilize secure OAuth 2.0 protocols to grant access without requiring or storing your email passwords.
- Cloud calendar tokens are kept in private, encrypted server-side records accessed only by the calendar sync service.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Your Data Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information (e.g., under GDPR or CCPA). You can disconnect your calendar integrations at any time within the app, which immediately revokes our access to your calendar data and deletes associated tokens from our active servers.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it from our servers immediately.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to—and maintained on—computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any modifications.
10. Contact Us
